To put it bluntly, our Federal Government is out of control: regarding its size, fiscal irresponsibility and the level of encroachment on our
rights. Since President Barack Obama arrived in office these issues have compounded at an alarming rate. We have the stimulus, bail-outs, cap
and trade, and the proposed socialization of our health care system. Our President is marginalizing everything we stand for as Americans. And as
most citizens are, “I am fed-up, fed-up” about constantly being let down by our political representatives. We cast our vote, and if our choice gets
elected soon thereafter we feel “buyer’s remorse.” So rather than sit and watch the destruction of our great nation, I am acting on my belief that
one person running for Congress can make a difference. I can make a difference. I will make a difference.
The bottom-line, I hold myself to a high standard. I have done so consistently throughout my adult life. When I am elected that will not
change, I will not let you down. I challenge you, the voter, to hold me accountable to do the right thing. Hold me accountable to always read
every bill presented before me. As I have read the multiple versions of the proposed “America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009. The
name is a disguise. There is nothing “affordable” about it and it proposes to remove the “choice” we currently have, Congress can’t even get the
name right.
